As the Scout Patron of Dr. Obote College, I take great pride in the commitment, discipline, and teamwork demonstrated by our Scouts. The Scouting movement in our school continues to grow stronger each year, nurturing a spirit of leadership, service, and patriotism among our students.

Our Scout Club plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded learners who not only excel academically but also serve their communities with courage and compassion. Through regular drills, camping activities, community service projects, and environmental conservation programs, our Scouts have learned essential life skills such as responsibility, cooperation, and resilience.

In the past year, the Scouts of Dr. Obote College have participated in several inter-school camps and community outreach programs. These experiences have enhanced their confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities — qualities that align with the school’s vision of producing responsible citizens and future leaders.

As Patron, I wish to commend the dedication of our Scout leaders, the unwavering support from the school administration, and the enthusiasm of our members. Together, we are building a strong foundation for civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, and national unity.
